Athletic Business: Timberline Lodge Pool featured in Aquatic Design Showcase

Athletic Business’ 11th Annual Aquatic Design Portfolio selected the Timberline Lodge Pool Replacement as part of its showcase.
The historic lodge, opened in 1937, decommissioned its pool in 2022. The replacement project provided an opportunity to enhance both the pool’s functionality and the guest experience. Soderstrom designed a 3,800 SF elevated pool deck with glass railings, detached from the Lodge and accessed via a new bridge. This separation restored the Lodge’s lower west elevation, previously concealed by the old pool structure.
