Andrew has over twenty five years of experience in architecture, planning, product design, and graphic design, having worked in California, North Carolina, and Oregon. He joined Soderstrom in 2005. As a Principal, Andrew leads the design effort on higher education projects with a focus on sustainability and place-making on campus. He has a deep breadth of experience in designing for all aspects of student life, from residence halls to dining facilities to academic buildings. Andrew believes that well-designed buildings do not merely enrich the quality of students’ education, but also contribute to the health and growth of the university. He incorporates this design philosophy in all aspects of his practice, including in his recent master planning and architecture projects for institutions such as University of Oregon, University of Portland, and George Fox University. Andrew is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Institute of Classical Architecture.
