Gaston Fire Station 11
The Gaston Fire Station was originally built in 1986, and houses a volunteer fire crew along with a few resident fire protection students. The building needed seismic upgrades along with replacing a failing roof. The station needed to remain fully operational during the construction work. Soderstrom partnered with ZCS to perform the fire station seismic retrofit, as well as bring updates and an exterior refresh to the facility.
