Pilot Butte Fire Station
Pilot Butte is an EMS-based station designed for up to six ambulance/rescues as Central Bend’s medical call volume increases. The Bend fire department drove the classical fire station design by their desire to commemorate Bend’s first fire station, located downtown and now repurposed as a restaurant. The station also houses up to four apparatus and quarters for up to eight firefighters. It is designed as a state-of-the-art facility with ramped light and tone tapout signalling, complete Wi-Fi access, workout rooms, and a large flexible kitchen.
